Roger Beverage has been president and CEO of the OBA since joining the Association in March 1988.

As an attorney, Roger has more than 30 years of legal experience in banking matters. He was a trial lawyer for several years before serving as executive vice president of the Nebraska Bankers Association and as the Director of the Nebraska Department of Banking and Finance. As Director, he had regulatory and supervisory responsibilities for the state’s financial institutions and securities industry.

He is a past chairman of the State Association Division of the American Bankers Association and was also a member of Leadership Oklahoma Class III. He has lectured on banking-related matters at forums across the nation and is on the faculty and the Board of Trustees at the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin.

Lea Ann Jackson joined the OBA in May 1994.  She is a certified public accountant and a certified association executive, as well as a licensed insurance agent.  She served on the Governor’s Task Force for Recovery after the May 3, 1999, tornado and was a finalist for The Journal Record Woman of the Year in 1999.

Prior to joining the OBA, Jackson was controller for a medical research foundation and spent five years with the international accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche.

Jackson is a native of Ada and holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science with her studies done at the University of Wyoming and the University of Central Oklahoma.

Adrian Beverage is an Oklahoma native. He joined the OBA in 2000.

He  graduated in 1999 from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in communications and political science where he once coached men’s basketball.

He is now in charge of Professional Membership and Bankers Nights Out at the OBA.

Sandra TeerSandra Teer joined the OBA in 2011. She has a BS in Accounting from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and is a Certified Public Accountant. Before coming to OBA she spent many years in accounting and financial management primarily in the agribusiness and manufacturing industries. Immediately prior to coming to OBA, she managed the Premium Audit Department at CompSource Oklahoma.

Ryan joined the OBA in 2016 while attending the University of Central Oklahoma. Shortly afterward, he completed his bachelor’s in accounting and became a permanent member of the OBA team. Immediately prior to joining the OBA, he worked as an adjunct instructor for Rose State Kids College, where he taught a variety of math and finance courses. Ryan also enjoys donating his time as a certified Volunteer Income Tax Assistant during tax season.

Jeremy has been in charge of the Oklahoma Banker newspaper as well as the OBA Web site and other member communications since joining the OBA in January 2002. A native of Hartshorne and a 1997 graduate of the University of Oklahoma, he enjoys meeting and talking with the different people he encounters while doing his job. Previously, Jeremy worked as a sports writer in Lawton and, for the four years prior to joining the OBA, Lubbock, Texas, where he decided the town wasn’t big enough for both him and Bobby Knight. When not working, Jeremy loves to hike, read, watch football, baseball and boxing and teach journalism to high school and college students. And, if you ask, there’s a good chance he will regale you with the story about being interviewed on ESPN by Chris Fowler.

Reeser joined the OBA in 1984 as education secretary and was quickly promoted to  Director of Banking Schools.  She has been in her current position for over 15 years.  

She is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma and devotes much of her time to Junior Achievement. She serves on boards and committees of  the Oklahoma Council on Economic Education and the United Way.

Debbie Leake has been with the OBA since 1999. She previously served in the U.S. military in several capacities: as a hydraulics mechanic for C-130s in the Navy, and in field artillery and combat battalions for the National Guard Maryland and Reserve National Guard California.

Leake also taught drug and alcohol awareness for seven years at the University of Arizona. She is licensed in Maine and California as an LPN. She also has served as a church secretary, paraprofessional multi handicapped children with the Edmond Public Schools and cook for the Edmond Public School District.

Originally from Lawton, Nancy McKinnis moved to Edmond in 1981. After being a stay-at-home mom for 10 years she re-entered the workplace and worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone for 11 years. She then entered the OKC-Edmond Metro Real Estate profession.

She joined the OBA in the summer of 1995 in the Education Department, and has also worked in the Government Relations Department. McKinnis has been actively involved in the Board of Realtors, Edmond Chamber of Commerce, Red Cross, Edmond Arts and Humanities Council, Chopin Society of Mid-America, and New Covenant United Methodist Church in Edmond.  She is currently involved at NC as a Stephen Minister, Outreach Team and Celebration Team member, and also involved in the Pioneer Country Emmaus Community.

Elaine Dodd spent 22 years in law enforcement doing investigative work for the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, retiring in 1995 as the director. Her tenure there allowed opportunities for investigating white-collar crimes as a diversion investigator, as well as training for officers and medical professionals.

Dodd joined the OBA in October 2003 and since then has provided fraud training to thousands of bankers and customers across the state. In February 2013, she was awarded the Brad Edwards Consumer Champion Award by the Oklahoma Attorney General’s Office. And, in April 2013, she was inducted into the Oklahoma Women’s Hall of Fame.

For six years, she coordinated the community outreach effort for Leadership Oklahoma, helping to start local leadership groups, facilitating retreats and teaching and enhancing skills on a local level.

Dodd holds a bachelor’s degree in political science (criminal justice) from the University of Oklahoma.

Mary Beth Guard is executive editor of BankersOnline.com and CEO of Glia Group, Inc.. In a career spanning more than two and a half decades, she has gained a national reputation as a banking attorney, speaker, writer and Internet expert.

Prior to her work with Glia Group, Inc. and BankersOnline.com, Mary Beth served as EVP/Specialized Services for Thomson Financial Publishing, EVP/General Counsel/COO for the Oklahoma Bankers Association, and general counsel for the Oklahoma State Banking Department. Mary Beth continues to maintain a heavy speaking schedule. In addition to her speeches, she has also entertained audiences nationwide with magic performances and is an active member of the Society of American Magicians.

Pauli Loeffler attended the University of Oklahoma, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 1979, and a Juris Doctorate in 1982. While in law school, Pauli was a member of Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity, served as the editor-in-chief of the weekly Law School News Letter and interned for the Cleveland County District Attorney’s Office. Following graduation from law school, Loeffler joined the family law firm of Loeffler & Allen where her practice emphasized title examination for title insurance, contracts and probate.

In January 1988, Pauli became the estate administrator for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma. After moving to Edmond, Okla., in 1989, she joined the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in its Oklahoma City Field Office as a staff attorney in the bankruptcy section. From June 2004 until January 2011, Pauli served as assistant general counsel for the Oklahoma Bankers Association responding to a multitude of legal and compliance questions from the Association’s 250 member banks. Pauli is general counsel for Bankersonline.

John Burnett is a 1979 alumnus of the ABA National Compliance School, and served on its faculty for several years. He graduated with honors with the Class of 1990 from ABA’s Stonier Graduate School of Banking, and is also a graduate of the BAI and the Massachusetts Banker Association Schools of Banking.

John began his banking career in high school when he started as a teller at a $15 million bank that didn’t have account numbers for its checking accounts (he says they actually filed by signature!) He joined Cape Cod Bank and Trust Company in 1971 and assumed the position of Compliance Officer in 1976. He also served as corporate secretary and secretary of CCBT’s Board of Directors, as well as Clerk of the bank’s holding company.

John joined Glia Group, Inc., and became a part of the BankersOnline.com team in June 2004. He is Executive Editor.

Andy ZavoinaAndy Zavoina, CRCM, is an executive vice president with the Glia Group, Inc., best known for its involvement with BankersOnline.com. He joined Glia and BOL in 2003.

Zavoina has been in finance and banking for 29 years. More than 20 years were with a holding company with two Central Texas community banks that had $534 million in assets, 89 branches spanning Texas and nearly 500 ATMs. After starting in loan workouts, Zavoina has been a consumer, commercial and real estate lender and managed those departments as well as being the banks’ first Webmaster. He was responsible for compliance -management, -auditing, and -training for both banks.

Megan joined the OBA in May 2015. A native of Ardmore, she graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2008. Prior to joining the OBA, Megan worked as an event planner in both the corporate and nonprofit sectors. Outside of work, she enjoys running, cooking, traveling and OSU sporting events. Megan has spent at least one day in each of the 48 continental states and plans to add Alaska and Hawaii to her list in the near future.

A native Oklahoman, Judy worked in claims and claims management for over 20 years, which provides her with a unique perspective when helping provide protection for the risk bankers face today. Thi Pham (pronounced Tea) joined the OBA in March 2017. Born and raised in Edmond, she graduated from UCO in 2005 with a bachelors in business. She worked as a teller at Bank of America then worked with OBA strategic member American Bank Systems for a few years. After finishing college, she began working at Dell Financial Services, becoming a top financial sales manager of the quarter several years in a row across three sites of Oklahoma City, Austin and Nashville, earning a President’s Club trip win. She decided to settle down and have a family of three while helping her friend open up three high-end, fast-paced salons with her Oklahoma esthetician license. After many years, she missed the financial industry and decided OBA was the place to succeed and grow as a young banking individual, helping make bankers better! Outside of work, Thi loves to spend time with her husband Martin, family, friends and traveling. She also volunteers at her children’s school, The Catholic School of St. Eugene, in Oklahoma City.

Kathy Young joined the OBA on 8/8/88. She previously worked for Texas International Company as an engineering geology technician, working closely with engineers, geologists and geophysicists doing research and plotting wells and maps. After the oil bust, Young joined Crowe and Dunlevy as a legal assistant in the oil and gas department. She then was hired by Hartzog, Conger & Cason law firm as a legal assistant to work primarily on documents related to the fall of the Penn Square Bank. As office coordinator, she is in charge of promotional mailings, working with suppliers and special projects.
