Just a short update today as I’m currently out in sunny southern California for our annual Senior Management Conference. We’ve got a great group around us and are looking to take in some more sessions today before we wrap up in the early afternoon.

Nebrasketball finally ended this past weekend, but what a heckuva ride it has been this season. Still, maybe next season we can learn to count to five.
FDIC chair, gubernatorial candidates to highlight OBA convention
FDIC Chairman Travis Hill, and Oklahoma gubernatorial candidates – and bankers – Gentner Drummond and Charles McCall III will be special guests at this year’s OBA convention, set for May 18-20 at the OKANA Resort in Oklahoma City.
Hill will take part in a “fireside chat” with OBA President and CEO Adrian Beverage during a session of the convention. Hill and Beverage will have a candid discussion regarding the FDIC and community banking. Drummond and McCall, meanwhile, will take part in a forum where they will answer questions and discuss their campaigns for Oklahoma governor.
Registration will be opening soon and more information on these and all events surrounding convention will be available. In the meantime, contact the OBA for more information and we hope to see you in early May!
OBA to host fraud investigators group on Thursday
The OBA Fraud Division will host the Bank Fraud Investigators Group meeting at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 2 in the Harris Event Center at the OBA offices in Oklahoma City.
This quarterly meeting is for financial institutions and law enforcement in the state of Oklahoma to discuss electronic transaction crimes: card fraud, wire/ACH fraud, internet scams, crypto scams, business e-mail compromises, ATM fraud/jackpotting, etc.
Registration is not required. We encourage you to come with information to share. If you know of a financial institution or law enforcement agency that may be interested in attending, please invite them. We hope to see you there!
