Oklahoma Department of Commerce to host virtual meeting for input from bankers

The Oklahoma Department of Commerce will hold a virtual meeting on Jan. 17 to gain input from banks and lenders on a future solicitation to restructure its State Energy Office energy efficiency loan program.

ODOC is hosting the meeting as part of the earlier Request for Information it made. The Department wants to share the importance of energy audits, and how lenders can incorporate them into a revolving loan design. It is also an important prerequisite to a follow up Jan. 31 meeting in which different possible loan designs will be reviewed in detail.

The Department is hopping to have the following join them in the meeting:

• Lending presidents and senior bank leaders.
• Loan officers.
• Banking consultants.
• Lender support staff with energy loan experience.
• Banks with experience in assisting Oklahoma public schools in accessing loans.
