State of Oklahoma starting Oklahoma Business Relief Program

The State of Oklahoma will start its Oklahoma Business Relief Program next week. The program is similar to the Paycheck Protection Program, but at the state level.

Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt and Secretary of Commerce and Workforce Development Sean Kouplen asked the OBA to help spread the word about the program, as well as a pair of training calls next week.

Below is their invitation to all OBA banks:

Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt and Secretary of Commerce and Workforce Development Sean Kouplen invite your financial institution to participate in the Oklahoma Business Relief Program.

Developed to help local businesses across the state overcome the economic challenges of COVID-19, the OBRP will offer vital funding for businesses that have suffered revenue loss due to the pandemic. Business applications and distribution of funds will be processed through participating local financial institutions.

Financial institutions that wish to participate in OBRP are encouraged to attend one of the virtual lender training calls listed below. The training will take place via Zoom Meeting and will cover program details as well as information on how to become a registered vendor with the state.
