This is the 52nd year of the Oklahoma Bankers Association’s Intermediate School of Banking, the oldest of the OBA’s formal banking schools.

Presented in two sessions, the school is designed to prepare students to serve effectively and profitably the needs and desires of their banks and the banking public. A major objective of the program is to instill an appreciation for and an understanding of the operations and interrelationships of departments within a bank.

Participation in this general banking school will provide an excellent background for those who plan to attend an OBA functional school—Consumer Lending, Operations, Commercial Lending or Compliance. Graduate banking school candidates are strongly encouraged to attend.

REVIEWS

“The OBA Intermediate School was a wonderful experience. The school touches on all aspects of banking including new developments and trends. The projects are also very beneficial and worth the time and effort. I highly suggest the OBA Intermediate School to any employee that is looking to deepen his or her understanding of banking. ”

                           – Jessica Dvorak, First Bank & Trust Co., Perry, OK

“The OBA Intermediate School was an overall great experience which gave me the opportunity to expand my knowledge about the banking industry, network with other Oklahoma bankers in a similar position, and helped me to continue to grow in my career. The topics covered included all different areas, and are relevant to understand the full operational aspects of banking. I would highly recommend to anyone who thinks they are going to have a career in banking to consider attending. You and your institution will benefit.”
