Don’t forget upcoming events: Hofmeister Zoom call, OBA Virtual Washington Visit

We wanted to send a start-of-the-week reminder on two OBA events coming soon!

First is our Zoom call with Oklahoma Secretary of Education Joy Hofmeister. She will join us at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday (tomorrow). This will be a unique chance to interact with the secretary and get insight on this year’s interesting school situation that affects bankers both personally and professionally. All bankers are invited!

Here’s the Zoom info:

Also, we wanted to send again our reminder from over the weekend about the upcoming OBA Virtual Washington Visit. Federal Reserve staff reached out to us last week asking for final registration lists.

At this point we plan to submit a “final” registration list today.

We understand not everyone has registered for this year’s (free!) program, and registration numbers continue to grow. We will continue to push for additional time to finalize registrations, but we are operating under the assumption no additional submissions will be allowed after Monday. We’ll notify you ASAP if that changes.

Unfortunately, sign-ups for the Federal Reserve briefings will no longer be accepted after Monday, while registrations will still be accepted for all other meetings.

We encourage you to register your bank, and especially your younger employees, for the virtual meetings as soon as possible so they have the opportunity to participate in all of the planned meetings.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to Adrian or Megan at the OBA.
