SBA Office of Advocacy hosts Regional Regulatory Reform Roundtable

The Small Business Administration Office of Advocacy will host Regional Regulatory Reform Roundtables across the country in an effort to hear directly from small businesses about what regulations concern them most.

The next roundtable is free and open to the public from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm on Monday, April 29, 2019, at the Embassy Suites in Oklahoma City. We encourage our bankers to attend and lend their voices to the meeting.

The SBA Office of Advocacy is an independent office that serves as a voice for small businesses within the federal government. They have developed a Regulatory Reform Action Plan to assist in accomplishing the goals of the two recent executive orders issued by President Trump addressing the regulatory burden faced by the private sector.

This roundtable will give small business owners and stakeholders the opportunity to meet in-person with Advocacy senior staff and recall firsthand accounts of how they are impacted by federal regulations. The information gathered at these roundtables will be utilized to inform agencies, Congress and the public on what specific regulations can be modified or removed to help small businesses.
